A bit of Bangladesh brought home

This project entailed Sanchita Islam painting and drawing from the roof tops of Calcutta, Sylhet and Barishal. The work was then sent back to London via the internet so that the children of Thomas Buxton Junior School could experience what Sanchita was experiencing as it happened. On Sanchita’s return to London she conducted a workshop with the children at Thomas Buxton Junior School and held an exhibtion of their work in the foyer of the Whitechapel Art Gallery.
